Hello there.
It has been a busy couple of weeks. I have been writing a lot of different material that I hope to shoot soon, and during the screening of Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows, my friend Tanner Alberts and I came up with a short film idea that has proved very fun and successful. We created an idea for a short film circling the character of Dr. Kermit Simmons - his awesome girlfriend Cheyanne came up with the name Kermit - which gives the character an out of this world dimension - and his invention of a unique pair of glasses. He calls them Great Depression Glasses. And they are as advertised. If your life is going great, then put on the glasses and watch your life turn to complete S#@t!
December 17, 2011 was the day that the first short in the Great Depression Glasses series was shot. The first infomercial was edited and posted on the 18th to some pretty solid acclaim. Lots of people wrote me about it and watched it on youtube. It has been seen in over 12 countries.
I have been quite impressed with its reception, and I have since filmed and released a sequel to the video simply titled Great Depression Glasses 2 (aka Great Depression Glasses 2: General Dripps) that came out yesterday, December 28th. To my surprise, it skyrocked to over 300 views in the first few hours after being posted on youtube. An even greater amount of people complimented me than the first video (even though, I think the first one was best).
Here is that video:
With the continued success of Dr. Kermit Simmons and his exploits, I finished a short treatment that I hope to shoot before January 1st, and release it on YouTube on New Years Day 2012. I think it will be the best of the bunch, and I hope to release it to an even bigger fanbase than the first two. I think these short films have some excellent potential - but we shall see!
On other news fronts, I am quite excited to usher in the New Year. My life has been very frantic in this past year (with some extreme highs, and some extremely low lows). But the last 4 or 5 months have picked up and brought me happiness and emotional heights that I had never achieved in my life. I hope to keep that momentum going, and have more success.
My goal is to have my work be embraced by a vast audience, and get my foot in the door of something big. I think I have the talent and ability to do great things, and I think I can make it happen. Maybe the New Year will bring some of those things to me. I guess I'll just have to wait and see.

The Road to Hollywood
Oh hello there. I have given into the cool kids vice - blogs. Yep, I just sold out. But hey, so has the world.
For my first yarn, I will update you all on my road to stardom. We all have to start off somewhere, and well, we might as well start off by making some truly shitty/awesome videos.
I would like to mention 3:
My favorite being "Great Depression Glasses - Infomercial #1" and my other 2 being "Sad Panda" and "Downtown."

So, while I am not having an in-depth yarn today, just check out these sick babies.
